After visiting 5 parks in Southern Africa, this was my favorite. Spent the morning on a "river" safari. We had a "birder" in our group and he thought he was in "heaven". He was able to identify more birds in this three hour river safari than his whole previous two weeks!! Fun to observe animals on the islands and in... More

Chobe is a must see and easily accessible from livingstone in Zambia. We saw buffalo, elephants, lions, warthogs, hippos, giraffes, baboons, and much more. The guides were excellent and the tour was top notch. Incredible safari experience!!!!!!!!

Great Reserve, beautiful setting. Lovely lion sightings and beautiful view points over the Chobe River. Only thing spoiling it was GP registration cars! Too many vehicles at sightings.

I truly think this is the greatest safari experience in Africa. The setting, the guides, the proliferation of flora and fauna are spectacular. The lodges range from budget (well may that's an oxymoron...they're all pricey) to extravagant. We chose the "mid-level" and they were quite beautiful and sumptuous. It's best to air-hop and spend a few days at different locations... More

The Serondela Reserve is part of the Chobe river front of Chobe NP. It is easy to access (especially if compared to the rest of Chobe NP) and provides the best wildlife experience that I ever had so far. A must do if you are in the Kasane Region.

You want to see Africa's endangered elephants? Then don't go to Serondela. They only have non-endangered elephants - plagues of them. They claim there are 120,000 elephants but I think that figure is wrong because we probably saw that many in Serondela alone. A pretty part of the park with a good diversity of wildlife. It is popular though so... More

This watery paradise on the Chobe River, was home to many, elephants, hippos and water buffalo. It was great to see the elephants walking across the river to get to the grazing areas on the other side, with trunks in the air like snorkel, groups went over under the watchful eyes of sunning Nile crocodiles. Stunning

If you want elephants, you will see plenty here. Along with hippos, crocodiles, warthogs, impalas, and more. The river cruise is far more interesting as you can see how much the animals love water. You can also see just how fast elephants can swim.

Wow, we checked into the lodge not knowing what to expect and wanted to stay forever. This lodge only hosts a possibility of 8 people- there were 6 the whole time we were there. That means that when you go our for game drives ,you get to see the animals right up close and personal. The food at the lodge... More
