A friend told us to stop in Tucumcari as it was a neat little town. So we stopped and were very disappointed because everything including the trading post was either closed or boarded up. This has become a ghost town. What a shame.

I went on a vacation to Tucumcari and went to this store. The cashier was really nice. He showed me all around the store and even gave me a discount on the gas pump shown below!

This was a place we planned on going to on our way to Santa Fe and we pulled in and it was closed. My kids are very disappointed.
