Heaven on Earth!

Huge selection and mouth watering chocolate! Have to really look for the sign hanging or you'll miss it.

Been to this place multiple times over the last couple of years and absolutely love it. Excellent elixirs, and great place to take the ten year old.

I love chocolate , preferably light. We tried chocolate truffles, lavender chocolate and espresso. It was a bit much for my taste. And the prices are not displayed. The espresso and the lavender, to my surprise were my favorites. It was obviously fine chocolate. I prefer not to have to ask prices.

Having missed visiting Kakawa in Santa Fe, I was thrilled that there was one in Taos. I have had and made Mexican hot chocolate before, but Kakawa's elixers far surpassed anything I had had before. I'm a chili-head, but the spiciest elixer was a real eye-opener. Another was beautifully floral. I opted for Modern Mexican, and also bought a bag... More

These truffles are made with agave sweetener, so they are even suitable for diabetics. What's more: they are absolutely delicious... best chocolate in the world. I used to buy European chocolates because I am from chocolate heaven, but ever since Lily's has been carrying these and even more so since they switched to being part of the Kakawa "enterprise" I... You must try this place! I just found it here in Taos, as part of Lily's -a sweet little garden "etc" shop. They've got a lovely cute cafe and they sell the same delicious Kakawa elixirs (luxurious 'drinking chocolate') as are available in Santa Fe. Free samples of the 3 'flavors of the day' to help you decide which one(s!)... More

Finally some awesome cholcolates in Taos!! My wife and I stopped by here the other day after learning they had opened up a store in Taos. We were super excited about the new Taos store because we always stop by their store in Santa Fe whenever we are down there. Their drinking chocolates are amazing and I love their salted... More
