Cute but overpriced. Was looking for souvenirs, but everything was just too expensive. It also didn't help that everything closes early

If you are a wealthy foreign tourist this is the place for you. Prices are outrageous for common place articles. Taos used to have some bargains, but now its pricier than Santa Fe. Disappointed...

The plaza is a nice square in the center of town. It is very commercial with tons of galleries that showcase southwest art etc. There are coffee shops, retail stores and a beautiful old hotel right on the side of the square. It is fun to spend a few hours checking out all the shops then stop for a coffee... More

You can find a little bit of everything on the "Plaza". What fun is a vacation without a little shopping? The Taos Plaza has a shop for every theme. We enjoyed walking around in the various shops, great people watching, beautiful planters and baskets which decorate this area. The buildings are old and interesting. There are many little side streets... More

We drove the high road over and the low road back to Santa Fe which were wonderful. The Pueblo Village was worthwhile but the Plaza and surrounding shops in Taos were a disappointment for us after experiencing the Plaza in Santa Fe. The level of shops is a tier below other ski towns such as Beaver Creek, Aspen, Vail or... More

You've just got to visit the plaza when you're in Taos! The fall is the perfect time to be here, so don't miss it. Great galleries and shops make this a great, relaxed take-in.

We visited Taos Plaza on a Saturday. Besides the fact that the Taos Plaza is full of shops, restaurants and many other attractions we happened to be there during the Farmers Market. It was full of local foods and hand made products. The market starts in the spring and goes into the end of October or first few weeks of... More

On a rainy day it filled the time but the same old shopping experience you find almost anywhere with a small central square.

Parking inside the plaza/square. You can comfortably walk around the plaza stopping in at numerous stores offering many local made items. The small square is very pleasant with benches for relaxing after buying a snack or beverage. If posible, lunch or dinner at the 'Alley Cantina' (also within the plaza) is rewarding.

Interesting shops. Some are specific to Taos. Too much of the merchandise looks like the stuff found in tourist shops all over the country.
