Was just there for the Cowboy Poetry and the entire experience was great. The staff was helpful in directing which way to go, the event was fun and a good time was had by all.

This is the first time we went to a horse race and it was fun. We did some betting and enjoyed it. Would recommend this to anyone else.

As always great experience. Crowds are always friendly. Nice weather, Zia Days fun time to go, TB races and lots of vendors adds to the fun!

We loved the races, as always, but it was so nice to have a place for our grand children to play on bounce slides, etc and get face painting done. The adults enjoyed the arts and crafts booths. Lots of betting windows, so one doesn't have to wait in line. Great fun for a great price!

Kids had a great time. We all bet on horses. It was fun to read and see horses then place bets. Exciting and fun time for all.

We enjoy coming to the track having a few beers and making small bets. Free parking, shuttle will pick you up and take you to the entrance. General admission is free. We like the short sprint races. It's fun to get right up on the rail and watch em come hauling past you. The mountains make this a beautiful setting.

Kids: will love the horses, but may get bored. There's a small arcade with a handful of older games, some little trinket shops scattered around, cool old western themed restaurant on the eastern side, plenty of fair-food (dogs, popcorn etc., avoid the hamburgers). Adults: $5 + tip valet parking to get close, it's a little hike for free parking but... More

Being from New Orleans where the Fairgrounds are beautiful we decided to go out to Ruidoso to see the All American Futurity. We were set for 2 days of great races. First we had to pay $30 each for Sun and Monday so $120 total to sit in a chair in an open air arena. Someone was in our seats... More

Had a great day of racing--17 races of 2yr old thoroughbreds. Didn't win, but had a great day with friends! We sat in the covered seats with the counters in front that cost $15, but general admission is free.
