My wife and i went here on our way back to Santa Fe and had a great time. It is a beautiful little place right on the road back. They had two different grapes, Italian varietals apparently, that I had not had before that I thought were impressive. All the wines were at least decent, but again, I would go... More

I was really looking forward to a wine and cheese tasting at Vivac. The location was very nice and we enjoyed the wines. The hostess was not engaging, offering very little information. When ask about their cheeses, I was told they were out of cheese except for "spreadable". A hostess with a more helpful attitude would have made the experience... More

Actually, it's not that far off the main highway. We were staying in Santa Fe and decided to spend an afternoon going to a winery. There are several to choose from nearby and many more if you expand your radius. So, let me clarify, I am not a wine snob, nor am I a wine expert. I think I am... More

Had a fabulous time enjoying this little winery. Stumbled across this gem on a patio day w/ music. You must try the chocolates! Great find!

After having read the many positive reviews on Trip Advisor, seeing the beautiful photos, and reading the descriptions of their wines, I was really looking forward to visting Vivac. What a disappointment our visit turned out to be. The setting is lovely. No problem there. The customer service, however, was nonexistent. The young woman behind the bar was completely disinterested... More

Did not care for the wine. I suppose their patio is good, not that great. Did not get what all the hype is about. I think their popularity revolves around the convenient location. We did not like the cheese AT ALL; there was no taste. the chocolate was WAY too pricey. Really - $7 for a chocolate no bigger than... More

We were recommended this winery for its chocolate-wine pairings. The hip young woman working the tasting room didn't offer this, but also didn't really offer much help or information about the wines available for tasting and purchase. We shared a tasting of the wines and each bought a glass and sat on the covered patio. There is a lovely view... More

We have been fans of Vivac since our first visit to Santa Fe in 2012. This was our first chance to visit their tasting room at the winery and it did not disappoint in the least. The staff was friendly, helpful (recommending local food for lunch), very knowledgable, and very competent. We had the chance to try some wines that... More

Very pretty location set amongst their grape vines! We enjoyed a wine tasting inside and a glass outside! Great, award-winning wine and wonderful, friendly staff and in particular, Sage, who provided our tasting! And, they have some exquisite chocolates to pair with your wine! Highly recommend stopping in!
