This hike was in an area with limited parking, but we were the only folks there. Took about a 1-2 mile hike and went past most of the mines. I liked the informative signs placed near each of the mines. The trail map provided excellent...More

This is a fantastic easy hike...if you are an experienced hiker. The park has about 5 miles of trails. For those reviewers who "aren't impressed" New Mexico's charm is that it is rural rocky and rough. It is a paradise to hikers, bikers and nature...More

Great little out of the way park. Restroom, picnic and trails were immaculate and marked well. Number of options for short hikes up to about 5mi. Mine history was intersting. Nice views.

The trails were scenic. For the most part the trails were narrow. We went by several old mines. It would have been helpful if there was more signage or blazes for the trails. When we first arrived, there was a ranger-led walk that the people...More

We have a tradition of hiking on January 1st, which, thankfully, state parks across the country have also adopted. So while in Santa Fe we sought out such a hike, and were directed to Cerrillos Hills SP. Let me say first off that they had...More
