We had an amazing experience in Hunza. Hunza itself is very beautiful. The local people are very friendly and very welcoming. Hunza is one of the most exotic places in Pakistan. Several high peaks rise above 6,000 m in the surroundings of Hunza valley. The valley provides spectacular views of some of the most beautiful and magnificent mountains of the... More

I chose to come here during autumn to immerse in the colorful beauty of Hunza. The scenery is needless to say, jaw-dropping. I arrived in Karimabad at night and the next morning when I woke up, I was astounded by the mountain view from my hotel room. And I literally jumped out of bed, ran to the balcony and what... More

You must visit this place at least once in your life. The biggest regret you will ever have is leaving this place to go back home as the people are simply so wonderful that no matter where you look all you will see are honest smiles. whilst off the beaten track there are lots of places to see and visit... Hi there, If you want to Hunza, you shouldn't book you trip with Hunza Explorers. Don't make the same mistake I did! 2 months ago I planned to go to Hunza Valley and booked my trip with Hunza Explorers. However, at last moment the embassy of Pakistan didn't issue my visa. I contacted Hunza Explorers explaining the problem, and as... More

It has been so fun, seeing nanga parbat from jaglot and rakaposhi from hunza has been my best of travel experiences in pakistan. The people of hunza are different from that of other people in gilgit mainly because of hats that women wear.

A wonderful experience living in hunza valley for 2 nights. One must target following places when staying in hunza valley: altit fort, baltit fort, eagle s nest, Ataabad lake, karimabad, hopar s valley. I stayed in PTDC Hunza but I would recommend look out for other options as hotel staff was very unfriendly n not welcoming at all. If the... More

The literacy rate in Hunza is 92% i.e more than any other district in Pakistan. Boy are the people warm and helpful there. Stop at any petrol station to ask for directions and I promise you they will take you in the direction for at least a few kilometres. The road leading to Hunza from the rest of GB is... More
