Have been here a few times and it never fails to impress. The area is just beautiful, with huge boulders, steep cliffs and the might of SA's biggest river. Sanparks again does a great job of looking after it, with a well-laid out campsite and...More

We spent 2 nights camping at the Sanparks campsite. The surroundings are clean and the staff are neat, friendly and helpful. Ablution blocks were cleaned regularly. Watch out for the vervet monkeys : sly little devils get into everything which is not locked down.

The Augrabies Falls area is really beautiful. We did the Dassie Trail (4 70-year-olds) and found it quite challenging but enjoyable. The trail's signposts need updating as we wandered off the path a couple of times. Our chalets were spotless, small problems like blown light...More

The park is definitely the best place to stay in Augrabies. The scenery is beautiful, park is well maintained and the chalets - although a bit dated - are cosy and adequate. The walkways are amazing and the lighting of the falls during the evening...More

Last visited Sept 2015. The falls are fabulous. The access decks and walkways are good. Those challenged with mobility issues will need help. The falls are awe inspiring. Drives into the park are spiritually awakening. Love this place. Well worth visiting

After booking in to stay overnight went walking down to the falls. Some very pleasant views. Tried to go on sunset drive but cancelled due to stormy weather. Next morning unable to drive through park as road flooded, thus a bit disappointed

I travelled JBG - Mokala and then onto Augrabies and loved it. The only problem is that I don't think you've got long enough to enjoy Mokala. I stayed for three nights and then moved onto Augrabies for just two nights... More
