The Augrabies Fall National Park is a peaceful and uncomplicated holiday destination. The landscape is semi-arid, the national park is full of surprises and the falls and rock formations are beautiful. As a family we could go for a hike and get on our bikes every day. Accommodation is simple but sufficient. All the rooms have aircon. The kitchen is... More

We camped here for one night on our way back from Namibia to the Cape. The waterfalls were amazing to watch. The directions of the paths to walk to the viewpoint, are good and even at night visible with lights. Allthough there are baboons and monkeys to be aware off, the resort was equiped with baboon proof rubbish bins. Each... More

This was our 2nd visit here and we once again enjoyed it. The falls are spectacular, and don't miss seeing them lit up at night. If you are a birder you will enjoy driving about the reserve and spotting some local birds and I recommend a drive to the Moon Valley.

Our visit to the Augrabies was one of great surpirse. It had been on our list for quite some time but we decided otherwise when holiday came. Eventually we did go there and it was more than worth the long drive!! The park is not too big and you can drive the scenic route easy in a day. Get out... More

Good, well maintained pathways allow you to view this spectacle at its closest. Easy to walk through and plenty of look out points with many interesting stone formations. Easily accessible from the main road with parking, curio shop and restaurant. More time is required if you wish to visit the entire park. Would be more amazing when river is at... More

We enjoyed the scenery and quiet feel of the Park and would like to have time to spend the day driving around observing the wild life of the area.

Visit the waterfalls late afternoon, you can enjoy dinner in the falls restaurant The next day do and visit the park again and enjoy a game drive, you see zebra, giraffe, and stunning look out points. Its about 5 to 6 hour drive. Bring something to eat and relax at the picnic site. Only down side each day the pay... More

Very spectacular area, with excellent paths and well maintained view points. Easy to navigate for all. We can imagine how it must be with a full river. Excellent Restaurant on site. The rest of the Park did not have a lot to offer as we did not see any animals.

Luckily there was a good volume of water flowing over the rocks resulting in some very beautiful views of the falls. The many boardwalks which the National Parks Board have erected in all the viewing areas have made access to the best spots easy, even if you are wheelchair bound. All the viewing areas have been set out with great... More

Was there camping. Only downsite of it baboons and apes rampage through the campsite. But the view of and from the falls are excellent. The Semi-Arid region make for big springbok. Hiking trails aint bad at all, make for great scenes of the region. The staff at the park is great with info and hospitallity
