Compared to Ocean City, MD, there are lots of scammers (especially watch out for Oxygen). The people who visit don't move out of your way- you always have to move. However, there are a few good places other than the arcades and food places.

It seems like former Seaside clients have found a new home. The boards are getting beaten up, the area is inundated with loud teens running around. For peace and serenity, travel further south.

The boardwalk was fun to stroll around but very repetitive shops. Everyone sells same items same prices. And watch out for the tram. Over all fun but average.

Too many tattoo and piercing shops. Dirty boardwalk and not in the greatest shape. We only went on the boardwalk to take the kids on the monster truck ride and couldn't wait to leave.

OK the Wildwood boardwalk is definitely something to experience. I don't recommend staying directly next to the boardwalk. I highly recommend staying down the road in the town of Wildwood Crest, It is much nicer, cleaner and quieter. It is fun to go to the...More
