A former golf course which nature is reclaiming. There are 5 or so well marked trails.A stocked fish pond and peace and quiet. Saw a hawk flying over the greassland.

Cox Creek is a great place to take a nice walk and talk to Mother Nature. You will not see a lot of animals - I believe they hide. I see squirrels and some rabbits - I talked for folks who has seen Fox - never seen a deer. Fishing is good - lake is stocked by the State with trout. I have seen some good sized bass taken. Great place to take a young kid fishing and walking. I see a lot of folks walking dogs. There are a number of trails - blue, red, yellow, (paved) and unpaved green with connecting white trails. An long abanded golf club and lake make up this area. Some trails to walk and limited parking. Good place to walk the dogs.

It was facinating to walk the course has mother nature is reclaiming it. You can stop the tee boxes, traps and greens and see how saplings are sprouting up everywhere. Ponds are now home to gigantic bull frogs and turtles. Birdies on every hole but nary a golf ball in sight.
