It's alway fun to go to the beach. Especially, Ventnor City Beach. The sand is always clean and the life guards are well trained and polite. A great beach to go to whether alone, with family or friends. Ventnor City Beach also has the boardwalk...More

there are very few options for day trippers. Most weekends you will recognize the other neighbors at your beach. This was not true this summer because of the beach work and the closed blocks. It was very strange to not know the people sitting nearby....More

Personally, I like the Ventnor beaches better than the next town south. Ventnor beaches are always clean and a little less hectic than those in Margate. Plus the wonderful addition of having a boardwalk for riding or walking with the beach views just works for...More

We typically visit this beach 2-3 times per year during the off season. At that time, we can have the whole beach to ourselves. Generally clean and the boardwalk is nice too for a stroll. Many access points.

Ventnor City Beach is usually packed during the summer weekends but not mid week. Off season it is virtually deserted except for the sea gulls and occasional beach walkers with or without dogs (see my photos for a typical late fall sunny day).

I have actually walked all 60 of New Jerseys beaches. Although all unique and charming, none compare to Ventnor. Its not crowded or small. Spacious enough for all to have a slice of paradise.

I love Ventnor City Beach. Babies taking their first steps, toddlers digging in the sand, teenagers walking in packs, kites flying, colorful beach umbrellas everywhere, old men with their feet in the sand as they kvetch - I stayed until I was a little more...More

Clean, plenty of lifeguards, beach passes required and checked upon entry (great for crowd control). A complete contrast to the crowded Atlantic City Beach.

Ventnor City Beach is one of those places that just exemplifies American democracy. Using the beach are people of all ages and all different class backgrounds, from working class families taking a weekend vacation to millionaires with summer mansions on the boardwalk. The sand is...More

But I am partial because I live there! Main downside of our beach is that in peak season when beach is guarded the lifeguards make you stay in a relatively narrow zone. When crowded, this can be irritating. It is not like that in Atlantic...More
