The beaches on Absecon island are just beautiful. Atlantic city, Ventnor, Margate and Longport are on the island. The beaches are wide, the water is clean, and it's easy to get in and out of the water. No big dropoff. Just a gentle slope. Beaches...More
I grew up in Ventnor & when we return for family reunions I’m amazed at how unchanged it is! Miles of pristine sandy beaches, only the lovely sand dunes have been added which are the perfect enhancement!

It's alway fun to go to the beach. Especially, Ventnor City Beach. The sand is always clean and the life guards are well trained and polite. A great beach to go to whether alone, with family or friends. Ventnor City Beach also has the boardwalk...More

We typically visit this beach 2-3 times per year during the off season. At that time, we can have the whole beach to ourselves. Generally clean and the boardwalk is nice too for a stroll. Many access points.
Ventnor City Beach is usually packed during the summer weekends but not mid week. Off season it is virtually deserted except for the sea gulls and occasional beach walkers with or without dogs (see my photos for a typical late fall sunny day).
