They have different events going on throughout the year. There is admission which I thought was a little steep. You can get a groupon or even buy a family membership for $30 for the year. We did the yearly membership because it was cheaper than...More

My wife and I stopped by here in August of 2017. We had a great time looking through the exhibits and talking with the hosts. As an avid decoy collector, I enjoyed seeing the decoy display and Barnegat bay boats. The highlight for me was...More

A nice place to spend some time and review the Seaports history. The museum has interesting plctures of the past and there are local crafts for sale on occasions. There are a few other local stores that sell items one may find enjoyable.

It would certainly be better to visit this place during the summer season but we happened to be visiting the area in November and it was still worth a stop. Most things were closed but the visitor's center was great and the lighthouse was open...More

The museum is very interesting and informative but the outdoors buildings and displays are closed and in bad disrepair. The museum is especially good for children and the importance of conservation.

The food trucks are great. It can get crowded but that's a good thing. Music is always top notch! Get a membership, otherwise you have to pay to go to each individual event.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GOING WHEN IT IS HOT!! Most everything is outside. Two buildings were air conditioned, but only enough to take humidity out. Made our visit short. Other than that, what we saw was very interesting. Definitely WOULD recommend on a cooler day.

Could the tuckerton seaport use some sprucing up - sure - but walking the boardwalk and looking in the buildings on a "lazy day", took me back in time. The stories we were told about Mr. Parker in the decoy shop were very interesting Enjoyed...More

Great place to visit and learn about the seaport history in NJ. Great array of museums in a boardwalk like setting. Very impressed with the entire village, as a lot of time was put into such an incredible exhibit. Easy to get to, as it...More
