We volunteered to help with trail maintenance in preparation for a trail run next weekend. I was not aware of the many hiking trails in this park. The park is quiet and relatively clean and not over crowded. We were told by a volunteer that...More

Very nice visitor center staff. Great historical items inside. Across the road you can go down to the river and see the Crossing location.

It's up the road from where Washington crossed the Delaware, so this park is just capitalizing on that. Free to go to visitor center and museum, but there is a parking fee until Labor Day (more on weekends.) Plus, there's a $1 charge to watch...More

My oldest son and I spent a day exploring Washington Crossing State Park in Titusville, N.J. The $5.00 week-end entry fee per car gives you the run of the entire park. There are several trails to walk that are breath taking and you'll receive a...More

There's a lot to enjoy at this park! Definitely check out the visitor's center and watch the 30 minute video about the Crucial 10 Days. Then, we walked down to the ferry crossing site - very nice walk through the expansive park. The ferry house...More

It costs $5 per car to get in on weekends - free on weekdays which favors leisure people who do not work on weekdays.. You can get the trail map at the entrance or in the Visitor Center. Our picnicking was surprisingly inconvenient. One of...More

The park can be toured in less than an hour. The highlight for me was walking down to the river to see the actual crossing site.

This park always has something going on. You can even run into George Washington roaming the grounds. In winter there is a reenactment of the. Crossing. This time of year, wildflowers and depictions of colonial life. Inexpensive way to amuse kids.

I have walking issues and have stayed on the PA side and parked close to the visitors center and walked just short distances to see some of the bldgs.
