More family oriented than Seaside or Belmar in my opinion. Boardwalk has been restored and things are back to normal. Beach is well kept, and kiddy rides and arcades on the boardwalk. My wife loves the skeeball.

I managed to get to the beach in Point Pleasant for one precious hour this week while visiting New Jersey from the UK. I couldn’t have picked a better day. It was 75 degrees and sunny, with clear skies and an ocean breeze. I entered...More

In September, no guards are on site. Its still warm and pleasant, most bars, store and restaurants are still open BUT swimming is dangerous and waves are too strong.

Clean, secure beach for families. Somewhat pricy for adults paying on a daily basis, but children pay a reduced price based on age.

This beach and boardwalk was very nice. It has plenty of good food eateries as well as the aquarium. The amusement park area has plenty of rides, fun things to do as well as lots of arcades.

If you travel to the Jersey Shore you must visit Point Pleasant Beach. Family oriented or great for adults without kids.

Our family goes to Pt. Pleasant Beach a few times every summer. It is clean and more family orientated. It has changing rooms with showers near by. We also enjoy sitting on the benches by the jetty watching the ships come in and out.

I understand that during the summer this beach is crazy busy, but we came in the early autumn when we had a few 80-degree days. It was really lovely. The sand is perfect and the ambiance is great. No entry fee in the fall, either.

Compared to other Jersey beaches it is right inline and wide. The boardwalk structure is nice and there's plenty to eat. The amusements are really for younger children- and the streets and beach are busy!!!
