unfortunately the day I went to visit the lighthouse hours were to 2 o'clock i decided to walk the gardens and around the sea wall and sit @ Gazebo and chat with others that were also taking in the beautiful views.

Came upon the gardens from the Oceanside. Really thought we may have been trespassing on someone's property. Came out to parking lot and spoke to a volunteer. We went into the lighthouse. Informative. Spoke to the volunteers/employees before we left. Learned a little more island...More

Unfortunately, pets are not permitted on the grounds of the lighthouse, including the gardens.

Age 12 and under is 3.00. Over 12 is 6.00 to tour the lighthouse. The gardens and gift shop are free. The gardens lead out to a boardwalk with benches to sit and enjoy the view
