It took a lot of folks to preserve/restore all the history of this lighthouse and there is plenty of photo's and things to read. The staff is great and one can take their time reading about the history and looking at how they rescued folks...simply amazing a must to see on your list. Many local companies help to keep this... Toured the lighthouse during the festival, really enjoyed the history lesson on the lighthouse. The ladies working there were very knowledgeable and friendly. The food at the festival was fantastic.

Beautiful grounds, great tour, friendly staff with tons of info to share. They also host several craft and art shows each summer.

You will love walking around the Hereford's lovely gardens. Follow the path back to the sea wall, and enjoy a simply *gorgeous* view. Also, if you are into watching for dolphin fins, this is the one spot that you are nearly *guaranteed* to see the pods popping up over and over again. Definitely stop by if you are in Wildwood.

We bought the combination ticket to tour both this and the Cape May lighthouse. We stayed in Wildwood, so it made sense to see this one first and then travel to Cape May. After purchasing our tickets, we were ushered into the drawing room where we saw a 9 minute video about the lighthouse. We were then handed a three... More

Was a very interesting tour. The price was very reasonable. The lighthouse was different from others. Was built to look like a Victorian house. Lovely gardens also. Worth the visit.

We usually try to make a trip to the Hereford Lighthouse each time we are in town. The gardens are beautiful and very peaceful. This time we took a tour of the lighthouse, too. We don't always do that because we have been before, but our cousin had never been.
