Access to Liberty island on ferry is better off from this park, less crowded; but less frequency too. The park by itself is one of the best places in the NJ-NYC overlap area. The views of Manhattan and the Statute of Liberty is absolutely amazing....More

There is a ferry that goes to NYC but its on the marina side opposite the statue ferry. $7 one way

In Liberty State Park check out "Empty Sky - 9/11 Memorial" on trip advisor. There is a teardrop memorial nearby in Bayonne NJ. and as others mentioned. The ground zero memorial at the site of the twin towers.

From what I know They sell the tickets for the maximum number of passengers on the ferry but people don't show for what ever reasons And they will let others on. You can take a chance but the people with the tickets at the... More
