While visiting the beautiful and scenic Liberty State Park, we discovered the Central Railroad of New Jersey Terminal had just been restored and opened in June of 2016. This rail line opened in 1889 and served as the greatest concentration of freight and commuter rail facilities in New York Harbor area - great signage and photos and a small exhibit... More

Great time at the park. Perfect weather and awesome sights. Lots of parking available. One can see a long line of photographers waiting for the sun to set. Very interesting time exploring the park.

The view is magnificent and irreplaceable. Always quiet and only you can enjoy the view of New York City. You can visit the park with your family, then go to the Statue of Liberty and to Manhattan also.

Liberty state park is one of the gem of Jersey City and if you are in the area it is worth of your time. I would recommend bike ride as the park is big and it can get tiring to cover the whole thing. Best way to spend time here is to pack a picnic with you and bring a... More

If you want NYC skyline and Statue of Liberty photos this is the park for you. Just enjoy the waterside stroll. The park has a few nice play areas and jungle gyms for kids as well as nice bike paths. The park isn't that large but it is nice for the day. Enjoy.

Liberty State park is a beautiful park with great views of NYC skyline. Great for exercising, bike rides, or just a casual walk. Access to ferries to Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Beautiful memorial near the terminal, which is SUCH A BEAUTIFUL building. Historic building, with old rail road cars on the outside. Great for pictures! Only this is... More

Great place to spend the entire day, we had been to this place last Saturday spent 4 hours during the day time, nice place for long walk, cycling or even just sit and relax watching the river and the New York skyline from a short distance

It's not easy to get to. The facilities are ok, but the view and the sense of history of the station are satisfying. Combine it with the ferry to the Statue of Liberty or Ellis Island and it's a very worthwhile day.
