I had heard of Madame Sherri’s castle ruins and forest for years and always wanted to visit. Last weekend we finally made the trip. I’m so glad we did! What an interesting place and back story on Madame Sherri! The ruins are not far from...More
We happened to visit & hike the Ann Stokes Loop after a lot of rain, so the trail was particularly swampy and buggy. Much of the trail is made from run-off areas, so that didn't help. Overall, it's a nice place to visit (the parking...More
My father and I visited the Madam Sherri Castle Ruins at the Madam Sherri National Forrest. It was an amazing place to see.

The drive from Brattleboro was beautiful and the site was calm, although more climbing than anticipated on trails to enjoy the vistas. I would love to learn more about Madame Sherri and plan to return to the park.
