Waterville Valley is a ski resort in Waterville, New Hampshire, the birthplace of freestyle since it actually is where freestyle started. In total, the mountain has 50 runs and 11 chairlifts. It is a moderately small mountain, being 4,004 ft in summit elevation and it has about 220 acres of skiable land. The snow guns cover all of the mountain... More

This has got to be the nicest all around ski resort in New Hampshire. Calling it New Hampshire's family resort is an understatement. From easy trails for kids and novices from the top of the mountain to expert trails for the young at heart, this placed offers any kind of trail you could imagine-all the time you get fantastic majestic... The resort is excellent. Live music in the common area and plenty of activities each weekend in the summer. We were there for the chocolate festival. Paddle boats, kayaks, and bikes are available to rent. You can ride the ski lift in nice weather for a view of the mountains. The resort also has several restaurants on the grounds, so you... More

Visited on a Thursday. Only three rooms in the whole hotel occupied. Whole area seems to be deserted. Was told Wednesday's bring full occupancy because of two weddings and Fall foliage. Lots to do as we arrived too late in the day and pretty much everything was closed.

This is a beautiful area and a fun family ski area but the management needs improvement. They have not followed through with promised expansions and upgrades. The grooming is inconsistent--sometimes great but other times not so. The Town Square and base lodge need a face-lift and remodeling. The town's entrance awning has been in disrepair for over a year. and... More

Went for the red clay tennis courts and fell in love with the place, the weather, the resort and the people. Waterville is amazing! So glad I took the family for our summer vacation.

We came in a less than desirable winter for snow and found the mountain groomed wall to wall corduroy! Thank god for their awesome snow making! Our kids had a ball in and out of the terrain parks and lodge. Food was good! Great vibe!

Ok. It's not my idea of a great ski resort. They pretend to be a resort but it's a place for low budgets which is understandable. Accommodations are comfortable with nice touches like feather comforters, clean rooms and views. If they had the traffic it would be ideal to connect the restaurants or establish tenants retailers for the winter. No... More

My family and I spent a beautiful Sunday of day skiing at Waterville Valley Resort. I couldn't believe how many trails were still open this late in the season. My daughters are beginner to intermediate skiers and we couldn't have asked for a better day. The personnel at the mountain were all very friendly and quick to offer help especially... More

Our mountain operations staff worked hard all season so that we'd still have great terrain this late in such a tough year. We're glad you were able to enjoy it. I'll pass along you kind words the rest of the staff. Thank you and we hope to see you again soon! More
