Excellent sample gardens with labels to show what flowers and hostas grows well in our region. Lovely enclosed formal garden with benches and fountain. Sea views with some benches. Bring a picnic lunch and a blanket and a friend!

We recently visited Prescott Park and discovered the beautiful gardens around it after seeing them from the air on a helicopter tour. All I can say is WOW! Definitely worth a visit! Just gorgeous!

I love the walk from the busy downtown Portsmouth area to this park. So quaint and peaceful. Enjoy the architecture of the town and feel of the park on the water. Always nice!

Nice place to just walk about. Pretty flowers. You can stop, sit and watch the water. A change of pace from busy Market Street.

There are numerous public parking lots within walking distance to the park. One very close one is thr hanover street garage.

No, but there are 8 dog parks in Portsmouth. For a tiny town, that's a lot. It's a great city for dogs. Large and small, you see them everywhere, and many shops put out water bowls to welcome them.
