Beautiful site

Large, very large, you realize by the openness how it has a direct significance to our place on this planet. One of the best places to retreat to for Serenity.

The area is beautiful. We came looking for moose and enjoyed a picnic at the lake near the campground and some nice conversation with the staff. It's quiet, clean and family oriented. There is a playground for the kids to burn off some energy too!

We stayed in a campsite along the lake and it was our best family camping trip so far! Lake access for kayaking and swimming is perfect. The scenery is just stunning. We heard moose and loons all night long. Staff were friendly and helpful. The playground was fun. Everyone can't wait to go back!

We stopped in to get the lay of the land from the ranger. He was more than helpful. The siting of the campgrounds is so perfect on the shores of the lake. It is off the beaten track do you don't have highway noise nearby. Lots of wildlife.

It's just pretty, out in the country, not crowded and clean. The air is fresh. Nice picnic area available. Out house type restrooms only. This isn't the city!

A great family campground when you want to get away and relax. Being a state park, there aren't any activities for kids, and no seasonal sites, but clean, with a store on site, and is on Lake Francis, which is great for kayaking or canoeing

I did not stay at the park but visited here early in the morning as the fog was lifting off the lake. It was quiet, save for the call of the loons.

My husband and I took our Rpod camper up to Lake Francis SP. Plan was to hook up with some friends for dinner Saturday night at their camp. I paddled Lake Francis on Saturday while husband went with the guys off exploring. This lake was awesome! No crazy boat/jet ski traffic. Nice boat ramp. Great rushing river feeding into lake...
