Perfect place to fish

I fished this river with my Dad. It's great for wading and fly-fishing. A must-do trip if you want to fish a great place in NH!

Paddled all the lakes plus East Inlet and Scotts Bog. We are paddles, not fishermen, however, we hear the fishing is great.

I was with a scout troop that took on the Connecticut River for a canoe trip. The plan was to set out with about seven canoes and have a truck with trailer meet us each night or to be available for portages if needed. The Connecticut River officially starts around the third Connecticut Lake, connecting to the 2nd lake to... More

The upper Connecticut River in Pittsburg NH is an outstanding example of a white water river and is known for its trout fishing. There are numerous places to pull over ad go down to the river and there are several parks and boat accesses. The river starts within yards of the Canadian border north of Pittsburg in moose country. It... More

Beginning as a small stream and flowing into several "lakes" as it flows down between the state-line of Vermont and New Hampshire.

The Connecticut river feels like it has not been touched by anyone but the Creator. The water is crisp, clean, and with different depths this river is just marvelous for fishing. Or just sit by the river and listen to the surrounding nature. Awesome.

Wild, pristine, beautiful .... This river is as untouched as it gets... we watched 3 mouse cross from one side to the other as we drove down route 3. God's Country.

We love coming across different areas of the river while out on a hike. There is always a new corner we have yet to investigate or a water fall.
