Great, relatively easy hike. You can take one way up and a different way down which is nice. Picnic tables & restrooms on top are a plus. you can also drive to the top, which we did after our hike just for fun.

While one can walk to the top of Pack Monadnock in Miller State Park, we rightly decided to drive up the narrow paved roadway, which was single landed in certain sections. Our car did all the hard work, and we could enjoy the wooded scenery....More

Pack Monadnock offers several hiking trails and a drive up road for scenic overviews of Monadnock to West and Boston (on a clear day) to the East. I enjoy the hikes. From the park, which charges an admission fee you can access the road to...More

I have been going there for the better part of 15 years. Always the same always fun. A great hike albeit only a couple hours. They invite you into the tower and even give children patches once they visit 5 towers. You can learn about...More

Hike was a little longer/more of a workout than anticipated but totally worth the view! Took yellow trail up and road down. Fam friendly but must keep close eye on kids.

Walk or drive up the switchbacks to the summit from whence you can see Boston on a clear day. It’s a wonderful place to watch the raptor migration in the fall, and a lovely stop on the Wapack Trail.

I've hiked Pack Monadnock many times and it never gets old! Most recent hike was a traverse from North Pack to Pack. Spot a vehicle at each end of the trail. About a 6 mile trek through beautiful woodlands. One can also drive to the...More

I visit here at least once a year. The trails are great, but not personally used them for quite a while. The rangers are very friendly and helpful. Well worth the trip even if you drive to the top!

Raptor observatories was the site or this well organized event, which drew several hundred observers. Only lasted 15 - 20 minutes, but it was well worth it to see these beauyiful flying creatures leased into the wild, where they will live out life as god...More
