Walk or drive up the switchbacks to the summit from whence you can see Boston on a clear day. It’s a wonderful place to watch the raptor migration in the fall, and a lovely stop on the Wapack Trail.

I've hiked Pack Monadnock many times and it never gets old! Most recent hike was a traverse from North Pack to Pack. Spot a vehicle at each end of the trail. About a 6 mile trek through beautiful woodlands. One can also drive to the...More

I visit here at least once a year. The trails are great, but not personally used them for quite a while. The rangers are very friendly and helpful. Well worth the trip even if you drive to the top!

At 2290 feet, Pack Monadnock is an accessible climb for many. The Wapack trail is the recommended route up to the summit and quickly rewards the climber with views. The Marion Davis Trail will take you down with fewer scrambles. Each autumn, the New Hampshire...More

This park provides lovely hiking trails and beautiful vistas. We opted to drive to the mountain top where we took advantage of a number of the well-marked trails. We also climbed to the top of the old forest ranger tower for even better views. While...More

We had a wonderful hike to the top of Mt. Wapack. The first 1.4 miles consisted largely of rock scrambles which are a lot of fun for kids. Our small 20 pound dog loves the hike as well. We were able to see Boston in...More
