I am 60-ish and found the trails to be very manageable. The 1.4 mile hike up was 'moderate' and it was raining a bit and muddy so the 1.25 hour time was expected. The hike was a 900 foot rise. Views were enjoyable. There were...More

It was a beautiful Monday morning in mid-September. What we didn’t know was that it was the middle of the Audubon Society’s tracking of the annual Hawk Migration and there was no better place to view it than the top of Miller State Park. For...More

Great, relatively easy hike. You can take one way up and a different way down which is nice. Picnic tables & restrooms on top are a plus. you can also drive to the top, which we did after our hike just for fun.

Hike was a little longer/more of a workout than anticipated but totally worth the view! Took yellow trail up and road down. Fam friendly but must keep close eye on kids.

It was a perfect day to take a drive up to Pack Monadnock at Miller State Park. I pass this several times a month and decided to check it out. It was only $4.00 to drive the auto road. I had my camera with me...More

Walk or drive up the switchbacks to the summit from whence you can see Boston on a clear day. It’s a wonderful place to watch the raptor migration in the fall, and a lovely stop on the Wapack Trail.
