I've driven by this dozens of times and finally decided to walk one of the trails, of which there are several -- wood trail, boulder trail, brookside trail, flower trail, I did the brookside one Beautiful, especially during the autumn.

A good short walk/hike trail <1 mile. Great for kids and leashed dogs! You can see bridges over streams, glacier erratics (giant rocks,) indigenous flower garden (in season). No difficult terrain.

This small, safe forest is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon with your kids. Trails, bridges, streams, and boulders make it a wonderland for children, and especially the little ones. It was a favorite spot for my kids when they were growing up.
