A group of Lion and Tiger scouts ascended via Round Pond to Boulder Tr to Mountain Tr to the Devil's Den and the summit. Great day to be out, no bugs, leaves not yet on the trees. This is the best hike in Pawtuckaway and...More

snow shoes required after the snow, but once trail broken, micro spikes probably fine. Snow mobiles pack down lower trails. Significant amount of exposed granite/ledge at the top, could get icy in the warmer days.

I hiked the boulder trail and it was amazing! Huge glacial boulders scattered around the mountain trail. People were scaling the boulders. I've also hiked the south tower and north tower trails. Trails are well marked and the views from the towers are beautiful.

Not as good as I remember. Crowded, people don't respect the trash in trash out policy. Restroom had dirty diapers on the floor. Lifeguards chronically making everyone get out of the water.

Good-sized campsites, fire rings with a built-in cooking grate. I try to get a site close to the clean and well-maintained restroom. Nice beach, also a small store.

Very nice camp sites with plenty of water access and bathrooms available. Camp sites are fairly spaced apart but each space differs in size. Sound carries over the water so if people on other sites are loud then you'll be able to hear. Roads are...More

We spent a weekend in October camping here. We stayed in site 78 on Horse Island. We were caught off guard by how far we had to drive from the entrance into the park to reach out campsite, but that was great - far away...More

We go every year for Columbus Day Weekend. You get the feel like your in a secluded mountain and lake front environment. The lake is spotted with lots of little islands. Much of the topography is boulder spewn giving it a New Hampshire mountain feel....More

Not sure how remote this is but considering the type of park, it is probably within ear shot of other campers so quiet rules would apply but I am pretty sure that you would be isolated from errant hikers.
