What an amazing adventure. We decided to drive to the top. There were a few scary moments but made it to the top in about 20 minutes. It was so neat to learn the history behind the development and races that have occurred over the...More

Our trip to Mt. Washington was as advertised. Really worth spending a day here. Had a chance to do. A little hiking after we visited the top and enjoyed the little museum and self guided tour of the highest summit in the NE United States....More

The Cog Railway may seem pricey, but it is a great way to get to the top of the highest mountain on the east coast. The brakemen onboard narrate historical information. They also have a sense of humor. No one can guarantee clear skies all...More

Free admission, hands on exhibits, free parking, and clean bathrooms. There is also a very nice gift store with interesting weather-related toys, books, and souvenirs.

It was so foggy you really couldn't see anything. It was 28 degrees and windy - 41 mph. I think the price of the museum should have been included my ticket. I would go back. I dressed for the weather not everyone did.
