Mine Falls Park is a delightful place to go walking/hiking. Most of the trails are pretty much protected from the wind, and there is much shade in the heat of summer. There are several entrances. My preference is to enter from Colosseum Avenue and explore the park on the west side of the turnpike. There are paved trails as well... More

I walk here often, and always finding new paths to take. Plenty of room and solitude for all. Beautiful area and setting. Walk, bike, take the dog.....highly recommend.

Park is very big and pretty but the folks that hang around the park are sketchy! The park is also not clean - has a lot of druggies hanging around. Idk not my kind of place to bring my dog for a walk Nevermind my children.

The trails throughout this park are beautiful! It is right by the YMCA so you can park your car there and go for a run. I've seen people kayak on the river through the park. The trail I ran was about 3.5 - 4 miles in one direction, however I'm sure you can take different routes to reach your desired... More

Splendid walking trails; one of North America's longest surviving power canals feeding the downtown mills; great Gate House at Mine Falls Dam; lots of access points and parking

A great park for a hike or bike ride. The park is just off Rt 3 and boarders the Nashua river and canal. There are multiple trails of various lengths. The terrain is mostly flat so provides options for folks of any fitness level. The trails are not paved and there are limited facilities here. Nevertheless a great place for... More

Mine Falls has been a frequent destination for our family over the years. When our daughter was in middle and high school, this park was our #1 place to run and train for her races. Now, my husband and I still love to walk the park. The trails and walking paths are well maintained and it's lovely to walk along... More

You can bike, run or walk in Mines falls. There are a few different routes you can take to make your visit short, long or play it by ear. The paths are pretty clear, so they are ideal for any age to go on. On any given day you will see runners, joggers, strollers and kids on the path. There... More

I enjoy walking through the park, looking at the scenery, listening to the birds, watching the fish in the canal, looking at the beautiful foliage in the fall and greeting the other walkers and joggers. Most people are quite friendly. The fresh air and exercise are great.

This place is totally awesome. ...great trails and wooded landscape. River meanders through the forest. Great clean and wide open trails. Lots of dog walkers but plenty of room to share. Peaceful and plenty of parking. Bring water for you and your pet, and maybe a snack
