My husband and I decided to visit while staying in the Bartlett area. It was a quick ride to the castle. It’s 17.00 per adult admission, which basically includes a 2-3 minute ride in a ‘trolley’ to the castle. Then after a brief overview, it’s...More

I visited the castle last summer and spent the morning exploring the grounds and had lunch and cocktails at the restaurant. Came during the week and it wasn't crowded at all! Everything was great including the views! Returned last weekend, didn't need to see the...More

More a cozy, homey lodge than castle, fascinating history, killer views. Tour is worth every penny - the money goes toward all the repairs and work needed to keep the buildings and property up. You could spend a day on the surrounding property, hiking, horseback...More

Castle in the Clouds is worth the trip. The tour of the Castle is very interesting and the views are awesome. There are hiking trails and horseback riding available, Carriage House with a great restaurant and, of course, a gift shop

If you can plan you trip with a wonderful clear day, and be able to sit outside, it will make it a very special lunch.

No, unfortunately! The town has many hotels and B&B's. If you don't mind a little drive you can stay at one of the resorts by the lake.
