If you or anyone in your family has any experience with the BSA, you must stop by to check this out. Great collection including uniforms, handbooks, gear and lots and lots of patched. A number of items that are from Baden-Powell himself as well as the founders of the BSA. We were given a tour of the collection by one... More

I'm a scout and it was very informative to me. I love all scouty things and thus didn't disappoint. It's a must do day out for a group of scouts. I can't wait to go to group and tell them about my scouting adventure. I love the scouting movement its in my soul as I'm Turkish with a twist of... More

An excellent spot for any scout. There is a clever quiz that leads the visitor through the exhibits. The guide was himself a fromer Eagle Scout and was truly able to draw on his owm experiences. One leaves with a great pride in the Scouting programme. Located in an exquisite scenic area.

The new building location allowed a lot more items to be displayed. There was a lot of New England specific items. The scouting library has a totally amazing collection of literature.

I came across this place on TA and decided my trip would be a waste if I didn't go and visit. The door was locked when I arrived, but the director of the museum answered when I knocked. Introducing myself as an Eagle Scout and Order of the Arrow member he gave me the full deluxe tour. The museum itself... More

Founded about 30 years ago by a couple of well known NH scouters; Max Silber and Lawrence Lee, this place is a scouting mecca. Their display covers all aspects of the Boy Scout movement from its' founder Lord Baden-Powell in 1910 to the program as it is currently enjoyed. There are displays of memorabilia from all decades including: the jamborees,... More

Even my scouts were pleasantly surprised by this gem. We were treated to a great history of scouting via large display of scouting artifacts, including many that trace directly to Baden-Powell. Commentary provided as needed by a knowledgeable director with good humor and an understand of scout-aged kids. Impressive displays that convey the breadth and depth of scouting world-wide as... There are a lot of interesting artaffacts from the begining of scouting till now. You will learn a lot about how scouting came into being.and how they learned to survive in the wilderness.
