Drove 4 hours round trip for this waste. A few miles down past a couple of roads, a few dried up river beds with nothing to see but tree stumps, bushes, construction sites, dirt, motels and rocks. One way "up and down" with same crappy...More

I expected more from this train ride. We did the ride that included the turkey dinner and let me first say that the meal is incredible. Beverages included are coffee, lemonade or water, so if you want something else, bring it with you. The meal...More

Special day to ride the train, enjoy the awesome foliage, and play with the cornstalk critters. Ride the train and you don't have to fight the foliage traffic. We've been at the Hobo for the Polar Express and ice castles. This was a new look...More

Enjoyed taking my kiddos on this trip. I remember the meals from when I went on this as a kid and loved getting the stick and napkin and unwrapping my lunch. Now, they just serve the lunch and the kids get the sack on the...More

All aboard! A nice ride through the woods, over the river, along the river and then back. We ate lunch on the ride, a simple sandwich, beverage, chips and cookie as we listened to some of the local history. If you have trouble riding backwards...More

This railroad has an interesting collection of vintage locomotives and other rolling stock. In addition, the track also goes over a covered bridge, one of the few such bridges carrying a railway. We felt that there was lots to see and enjoy with this railroad.

Lackluster and boring. None of the scenery were worth paying for. The train just passed by bunch of construction sites and ended up stopping at gold resort. If u enjoy looking at bunch of dried river, tiny bridges and trees and plants, then go. Otherwise,...More

I was with my teenage son, he loves train rides, we did 3 others in the area, this was our least favorite, not much to see or do, they do entertain the younger kids though!

When we went the train trip was about 20 minutes each way with the event at the North Pole lasting about an hour. That equals 2 hours with boarding, etc. You had a different experience?
