The aerial tramway trip to the top of Cannon Mountain is real fun at a reasonable price. At the top, take the loop walk and experience magnificent and breathtaking views. Unfortunately we had limited time and could not enjoy other attractions such as Flume Gorge.

Rode the tram on a peak foliage weekend. The crowds moved smoothly and our wait wasn't very long. - The tram cars hold A LOT of people. - Downside is, if you're not lucky enough to be by a window you don't see much on the ride. But at the top of the mountain there's a very nice, easy circle trail which brings you past many beautiful over looks in all directions, and eventually to the fire tower, which offers spectacular views.…

Nice views from the tram. Walk to the observation tower for more views. Save money and Get the pass to visit cannon mountain and flume gorge.

The ride up in the tram was nice but the operators/guides were what made the trip. They had a wealth of information and shared it in an interesting and amusing way. The area has a lot of history that I was unaware of before the trip up. Once at the top there was a nice trail to an observation tower which was fun to walk and, smelled like Christmas trees, which was a plus. A small snack bar back at the tram station rounded out the trip.…

The view at the top is spectacular and worth the trek from the gondola to the observation deck. But that climb is narrow, steep and rocky in many places, and was almost too challenging for our cane-dependent friend. On the way down, we discovered a short, easy path from the top to the gondola, but there is no signage for it when you exit the gondola.…
