Best part no dogs so you don't have to worry about bad dog owners. It is usually not the animals fault just the bad owner. Water is a little cool but you get used to it and the mountains more than make up for it.

We went on a rainy day so we couldn't do any activities like boating. The view is so awesome though.

A decent place to take a dip on a warm, sunny day. Good access to this little mountain lake. Bring your bike and ride the bike trail.

It should be opened - visited many places like this during off season. No barrier for site seeing - but the facilitators won't be there for any questions or help.

A Google search shows that Newfound Lake (183 feet deep) which is to the south of Echo Lake is the deepest lake in NH. Echo Lake is only 10 feet deep at the deepest part.
