MT Chocoura is one of the nicest hikes in the white mountains. There are many different trails to pick to get to the summit. The view from the summit is absolutely breathtaking.

The top of this peak offer 360 views! There are many routes up. My family took the Liberty Trail up. I would say it's moderately difficult. The last .3 mile, however, is a steep rock scramble. This last part for me as a 50+ year-old...More

The views here are spectacular, but you definitely work for it! The trail is incredibly rocky the closer you get to the top and does get increasingly steep. Take breaks!! Once you get to the summit follow the trail guides (in yellow), otherwise you'll end...More

Beautiful views, great trail, not too much traffic. Last 20% of the trail includes significant climb on steep rocks - not for those who fear heights.

Hiked up the falls trail and sat and had lunch on a rock in the middle of the falls. BEAUTIFUL! Great on a hot day!

We climbed Mt. Chocorua via the Champney trail which was rated as moderate difficulty and I agree, it is pretty steep in places but I only needed to stop a few times to catch my breath. We also did the little trail that takes you...More

Great almost anytime of year, but summit takes on especial magic during foliage season. Be careful to know your route as there are loop options but not all trails end at the same trailhead.

Chocorua is according to the APC the most photographed mountain in the world and it's no wonder why. It's a gorgeous mountain sheltered in the southeastern White Mountains that isn't as challenging as the taller Presidential mountains, and has a huge summit with just amazing...More
