About Bear Belly Brew Tours
As owners of Bear Mountain Lodge B&B for the past 14 years, we wanted to offer our guests and others staying in the Bethlehem, Bretton Woods and Franconia Notch areas additional activities/tours to enjoy while visiting. With 4 new breweries opening within a 25 minute drive and guests constantly saying they wished they could visit more, our brew tour business was born.

My wife & I decided to try something new and went on a brew tour in the beautiful White Mountain Region. Hosts Mike & Carol gave us great local insight while traversing the North Country roadways. We were able to sample some wonderful local brews at three different breweries- Schillings in Littleton, The Iron Furnace in Franconia & RekLis in Bethlehem. The breweries gave us some cool insights on their brew process and how their businesses came to be. We were able to purchase some of the brews we liked. Between stops, Carol treated us to some light snacks and water to cleanse our pallets. At our last stop, we were able to have a late lunch. Over all, we had a great time!

I went on a "alone-cation" for a few days, to get out of the heat of Florida. Needed some time to unplug and get my mind right. I stayed at the Bear Mountain Lodge (wonderfully relaxing), and was invited to take a tour on the Bear Belly Brew Tour!! Mike and his wife put on a fabulous tour! It was a perfect way to enjoy some "newer beers" without having to commit to buying a whole bunch of it! I was able to simply relax, enjoy and soak in all that hoppular goodness! If you need to unplug and simply enjoy a half-day, I'd highly recommend it!

Love the stops that we made and i learn a lot about the brewing process and the differences between the different IPAs that I did not know. We stopped at three brewers and had different samples at each. My favorite was the last one where we had a chance to get a great lunch that was delicious! Great trip!

Michael and Carol from Bear Belly Brew Tours were amazing! So much fun and very friendly!! This tour definitely surpassed our expectations; we will defiantly be going again. We visited three different breweries, and got to sample amazing locally brewed beers. The folks at the breweries were super knowledgeable and we learned a great deal about the process of brewing. We will defiantly be getting another group together soon to go on another tour!!!

So happy Lisa that you enjoyed the tour. Getting behind the scenes to see the brewing process last week was a great addition to the tour and we're lucky to have great brewers meeting with our groups. Looking forward to seeing you on another tour in the future. Carol & Michael
