We stop by on our way to south lake, and it's just breathtaking. Peaceful and beautiful. Great to have a picnic. Although, it was full of snow and cold but totally worth.

This is a great vista point located in South Lake Tahoe. Amazing views of the lake, trees, and mountains. This spot is definitely worth the time for taking a hiking trail down toward the lake and for picture taking.

Cool place for pics and an easy drive up/short walk. I recommend this place for all ages but I would advise parents to keep an eye on their children.

There's nothing to "book". I believe the roadside stop is open during daylight hours. I read about this location in one of the free tourist newsprint or booklet type hand-outs.
