The parking fee is well worth it here with a quiet beach, convenient parking, tiki bar and water sport rentals. Bring a picnic and a beach umbrella and enjoy the mountain views. The sand is coarse and hot and will bruise your feet if you...More

Nice clean beach. Except that my daughter got stung by a yellow jacket. Being that it's private beach, I would expect them to take care of yellow jackets problem (trap, deterrent etc). $10 daily fee is modest. I am willing to pay twice or triple...More

Nice beach and fun place to rent a paddleboard, paddleboat, or other watercraft. Getting into the parking lot was a pain. Cars were waiting out into the highway because attendant (Cheryl) wasn't efficient. Parking is $8 and at 4pm plenty of spaces available but getting...More

From the reviews I see that parking is limited and I would like to arrive a bit later on a Sunday, around 11:00am so is it better just to get a taxi/uber from hotel (Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel) and if so, are there lockers to put my stuff away if I rent a kayak? Thanks

A cab might work out, we had a rental car. Parking is abit easier if U can arrive before 10. As far as locker's I don't remember seeing any at the beach or near the vendors. If you're kayaking you want to go early. The wind... More
