Small museum but packed full of artifacts from the gold and silver hey day in Virginia City. Displayed very well. Have a 16 minute video describing the mining industry. Well worth the $3 admission fee.

This museum is worth a short visit. There are lots of old time artifacts and explanations of life during the mining days. There are some short videos and plenty to look at and touch. Worth the time and small cost.

This is a history buffs dream. It is packed with historic items both inside and out. You could literally spend a full day looking at every here. It looks small but it will surprise you. Very informative and is a must for Virginia City visitors.

There were several rooms full of old mining goodies, as well as other pieces from the olden days of Nevada. We really enjoyed it. There are even some huge machines and things outdoors. Time well spent!

The museum has a lot of great era pieces that really shed some light on how things were early on during the 1800’s in Virginia City. The lady at the front is nice and has plenty of good history to share if you ask. Definitely...More

Price was only $3 and the museum had a lot of historic items. I loved their doll collection!! It is not very big but we spent about 45 minutes. It was informative and fun.
