Very cheap sleeps, a bit funky in the rooms, but you will be in great company of creative artists. Try to go to the Absinthe bar. Hang around and talk to the residents. May move there some day.

A place for local artists of all varieties to display their artwork for sale--paintings, jewelry, etc. There's also a place for art classes. Plenty of parking. Conveniently located near to Interstate 80 and restaurants.

The Gallery offers informative information for beginners to of the art world. West 4th street is somewhat scary at night. So i would'nt recommend night time trips. It is dark @ 5pm in the fall /winter months. However 4th street is Much improved thanks to RENO 911 & continuing . They say it was a great find!

Okay; has an attached coffee shop open 7AM-1:00PM which holds art/poetry/music weekends; claims to be an artist hostel, hotel, and apartment mini-complex but only the gallery and coffee shop operational...many "Burning Man" enthusiasts claimed to have never heard of it, it's near old trailer park, and woman who runs it herself questioned why anyone would even jokingly want to live... Eclectic selection of little businesses. I came for Nada Dada, it was nice to meet the artists and discuss their work. Had a coffee and the darling little coffee shop. Plan to come back to have a drink at the bar.
