Beds are not comfortable and really didn't feel safe staying there (sketchy characters roaming throughout). Stale smell in the hallways and furniture in our room was in poor repair. Will not stay there again.

In Reno but several blocks from Virginia st durning day light not a area of town, that I feel safe. In a part of town where many of the poor and homeless, sit and stand around.

We didn't have a lot of time but needed a lunch very fast. So decided to stop at the Sands Casino. The employees were very kind and attentive and explained our options. There is funny smell inside as almost in any casino. We had a typical American lunch in the 50th cafe but the service was fast.

the casino was cool but the hotel will not return our deposit they keep saying you will see it in your act in 2-3 days but 1 1/2 months later and several calls (some transferred and avoided without return) still no 70.00 return!!!!! this room was def not worth $170.00 for 0ne night!!

My room was dirty, the towels were dirty, the hotel staff was unfriendly. There are not enough adjectives to fully describe my stay. I bough new towels and washclothes at the mall.

This casino is not for tourists...it seemed that most of the clientele at the machines and tables were locals...there were very few people that seemed like out-of-state tourists. The casino was dirty...there's grafitti in the elevators and a paint job is needed badly. The restaurants are awful...mostly just fast food joints that serve food on paper plates. Mel's is attached... More

I think it's a pretty good hotel to be at the heart of things. Rooms are not great for the money. Pretty run down. The staff are very good though and do the best to accomadate you in any way.

Thank Heather B
