Bermuda Course in the Desert

Nicely laid out course and challenging from championship tees. Everything was dormant including the greens which appear to not be being mowed daily, not because the grass was... read more

Both courses are worth playing any time you get the opportunity. Most recently played the desert course, but have played the Lakes course in the past. World class courses, reasonably priced, rarely crowded, very friendly staff and I can't wait to play again.

I've always liked the two courses here and they were always in great condition. But this visit gave me a course that looked like they've fired their superintendent and no one knows what to do. There were weeds everywhere. The fairways looked like there were ten different kinds of grass growing. The greens had some spotty areas. The bunkers were... More

We traveled to Las Vegas for a week of golf and driving in from L.A, we usually stop at the Primm Valley courses to play our first round. Since MGM had purchased the resort, we have noticed a slow deterioration of service and course quality. This was our worse outing ever and the last straw for us. We booked our... More

This is a CA/NV state line course, but gives discounts to military and CA/NV residents. Excellent range and short game practice areas, very challenging desert course designed by Tom Fazio with plenty of bunkers and water hazards. Usually busy, but make reservations and you should have no problems. Casinos just up I-15, and LV is about 40 minutes away.

I played both courses during my visit. I like the course layout with many dog leg and some hole with tight fairways, but not overly difficult. The condition however was not that good, lots of brown patches everywhere on all the fairways, very disappointing indeed for a "resort" course where one would expect to see lush greens and fairways. The... More

This is the second time I played at Primm Valley. I returned after a visit in 2014 and brought my friends because it was beautiful and fun last time. This may be the last time we play here and I will definitely call ahead before I book to check conditions. This time we showed up and there were many brown... More

Nicely laid out course and challenging from championship tees. Everything was dormant including the greens which appear to not be being mowed daily, not because the grass was long, but because of the pine tree stuff all over the greens. Fairways are "resort" wide offering large target areas, but carries were long in some cases. Sassy bartender in the bar... More

This was our second trip to Primm Valley golf club; the first time we played the Desert course and this time we played the Lakes course. The two courses have very similar undulating greens and hole designs (routing and elevation changes). The main difference between the two layouts is the fairways. The lakes course has much more generous landing areas... More

Group of 4 of us played Thursday and Friday, greens were cut tight as they had just fertilized a day or some before which made them a little fast. We played the lakes both days as it was very windy on Friday an it is more protected from the wind the staff said. We really enjoyed both rounds and the... More

Play there half a dozen times a year. Went about two weeks ago and drove up to the tee where this young starter said that we had to go back to the driving range so we didn't disturb the guests on the tee, meanwhile he was yammering the whole time they were teeing off. Went back to the range and... More
