This is a small museum, but worth a visit. Lots of display cases and a lovely gift shop with unique items, at reasonable prices. It is a Pokemon stop too!

This is a free museum of the Pahrump Valley although a contribution would be appreciated! There is a lot to see here, in displays of the history of Pahrump and surrounding area. From cotton farming to geology to weapons testing, this little museum really covers a lot of ground. If you're in Pahrump and have a little time, this is... More

It's a well stocked museum. Surely recommend the Pahrump Valley Museum to anyone visiting or passing through Pahrump. We were greeted by Fernando, he made us feel so welcome and spent good 1 hour explaining the contents of museum, history of Pahrump and things to do in a Pahrump and Las Vegas. We surely benefitted from his knowledge on the... More

I've stayed at The Nugget several times. The rooms are nice, but the price is a little high for the amenities.

We've been to many a small town museum and usually yawn our way through. Pahrump Valley Museum was a nice change. Many personal items from locals, which gave it an interesting twist. A wide variety of weapons from civil war to WWII. Personal letters, mining equipment, cotton gin, household items from turn of the century. Wonderful bronzes out front and... More

Was expecting more? But it's free. Was more interested in outside military equipment. How did we ever win a war with it?
