Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Serious safety incident
Many staff in casino unhappy. Just want your money. Pretty sure someone spiked are drink. Staff takes advantage of people who are clearly intoxicated. I lost a lot of respect for this casino won't be going back.

Comps are not comps they get there money, you can stay at a hotel for the same and not gamble, slot play is horrible! If your trying to walk the strip your at the end of it, all together ruined Vegas for me and I use to go 2 times a month now I’m done!

Easy walk from luxor, clean, safe. Machines paid out ok. Looked like they offered a lot of restaurant options. Would go back

Played the “popcorn” craps table. Twice I won and was not credited for my win.
I will not be back. The Mirage worked fine when I was there in November.

Very nice casino with a couple of locations that provide music and a place to hang out. The table minimums are too high for me. The smoke in the casino was strong at times.
It is located right near the football stadium.

It was our third stop in Las Vegas and unfortunately, the last. After seeing three, more casinos have little to add. Yet, the ambience in each of these hotels, the architecture, decor, customer service, experience, turns out to make a difference. Wish we had more time.

Tip. Mandalay Bay connects indoors with Luxor.

The Mandalay Bay is located on the West end of the strip, you can also get to the Mandalay Bay using the walkway from the Luxor, or Raised Tram from the Excalibur. As with some other reviews, there did seem to be a stronger smell of smoke then at some of the other Casino's. As with most of the Las Vegas Casino's there is plenty of slot machines and card tables to gamble at. They also have a fair amount of Shops and Restaurants to shop ad/or eat at. However as with majority of the Casino's on the Strip the prices are fairly high, compared to places off the strip. But since most people don't drive there or have a car, they have you a bit trapped for eating. The interior of the Casino looks updated and kept clean and fresh, although doesn't seem like there are as many waitress's a you use to see bringing drinks.

Overcharged for my room. Steven at the table games was a miserable staff member. The worst service I have ever received at a casino in vegas. I would have rather stayed at motel 6 than a place that double charged and a dealer that does not want to be there.

Mandalay Bay Casino did not have very many people. But the cigarette smoke was amazing. Must have terrible filtration. Was not able to gamble at the tables or even the slot machines because of the amount of smoke in the air.

I’ve been to Mandalay Bay Casino before and chose to go again because of the great service I always receive and the spacious floor. In the time of COVID this is the best property on the strip. They have a good variety of new and classic machines and they are spaced out so you are not on top of other people, making me feel more safe than the crowded floors.

The cocktail service was great. I was there during the day from 6am to 3pm while staying there and always was able to get a drink. Lori, in the front section, was particularly friendly and fun. When I wasn’t sure what to order after lunch, she informed me they had a new champagne that was served in a little split bottle. What a great idea! It was a brut, so not that sweet stuff and very refreshing. She also served a nice lemon drop! My only disappointment was not being able to get Diet Coke anywhere on the property. That is my morning caffeine drink but I was stuck with Pepsi.

I didn’t win, but never expect to. I did have a few good hits, but in the end it wasn’t enough. I always find casino reviews that mention they didn’t win a bit funny. I’ve had trips when I left with a profit, but not as many as leaving money behind. Gambling is entertainment for me, I don’t expect to be a money making opportunity.

I plan to go back and know that when business picks up again that I still won’t feel it’s overcrowded.
