Thought this would be cheesy but very interesting
Someone recommended and we went thinking what the heck. Found it to be fascinating and especially loved the interactive parts like the picture you could take getting booked and displays. Also liked that they included more modern day cartel and gangs. A fun time is to go to speakeasy.

    Definitely worth your time
This attraction has been on my list for a while. It was time to take it off the list. The Mob museum is in the former post office/court room for las vegas. The exhibits are well thought out and go in chronological order. Some of the highlights are the st valentines day massacre wall, AL capone and prohibition, kefavur hearing courtroom, early las vegas, and more modern times. Also some Mob inspired movies. I got the audio tour which is worth the extra $. Don't forget to get a drink at the underground bar.

    Great Museum
Excellent Museum for all interested in American history and culture. Lots of interactive exhibits, plenty of historic artifacts. Well organized and easy to follow exhibits. Allocate at least two hours just for the Museum, not counting distillery.

“This life of ours, this is a wonderful life.”
Cool museum if you are interested in the mob history, which I am. My husband got to hold a real Tommy Gun. My only complaint, which I have with lots of museums, is there were too many people at one time. Hard to see the exhibits sometimes. The Underground was a fun stop after the museum.

    Honest and informative
This museum did not leave anything out. It’s four stories and well organized based on time periods. It’s mostly pictures and some weapons. They did have a brick wall from the St. Valentine’s Day massacre. The distillery experience was a lesson in prohibition and a moonshine tasting which was great. They also have some TV and movie memorabilia. Overall, a great experience. You are not going to see this anywhere else so definitely worth the visit!

Incredible Learning Opportunity with Glitz and Glamour included
What an incredible learning experience. The staff is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about their specific area with complete timelines. The amount of artifacts contained in this museum is simply astounding. The details that is presented with each artifact is unlike anything I have ever seen. I highly recommend including the audio as part of your tour. Allow a minimum of 3 plus hours to take advantage of what they have to offer I highly recommend visiting this museum.

    Interesting
I was lucky to visit during an open day. The downside was that it was very busy, but that was made up for with cheaper entry and access to some extra areas. Well worth a visit to get an overview of the impact mobsters had on the local history.

    Tour
We did the speakeasy tour and the guide was awesome. My wife actually tried moonshine, so that was worth it. The items they have in the museum are very cool and worth the visit. This is a must see if you enjoy "Goodfellas" and movies like that. Give it a go and see how they make their award winning moonshine.

Better than expected, did the firearms experience and the distillery . Antoine was absolutely awesome. Friendly staff, very informative and interesting. Lost track of time, ended up spending over 4 hours there.

Vegas and the mob go together like peanut butter and jelly: that’s where the sin in Sin City comes from! I had a blast: it’s a former court house that was converted into a museum. Very comprehensive look at the mob as a whole, not just in Vegas. I also did the moonshine distillery tour in the basement: check it out! Great gift shop as well

I loved this museum. It was fun and educational. There is so much to see and read. It took us four hours to see it all. There are three floors and a basement. The basement is a speakeasy bar. So cool. They have thing like Tommy Guns from different mobsters. The only thing I did not believe was a wall from The Valentine Day Murders. Looked fake. I will go back because I know i missed something as there is so much to see,

Very informative museum. Lots of photos, a wall which had a mob shooting take place, guns and other items that belonged to mobsters on display. There’s three different levels to explore, a speakeasy in the basement, and a gift shop.

Very easy to find and it has a parking lot with overflow just next door which is super convenient. Great museum with lots of informative displays. Only downside is they don't limit visitors so hallways were very crowded so if you wanted to read the display boards it was a very slow go. The speakeasy in the basement was really cool....ask to see the hidden room behind the big picture...super cool. Restrooms on every floor was nice too. We spent about 3 hours including the crime lab interactive experience.

My partner and I went to visit the museum in June. I stumbled across it online and can’t believe I hadn’t heard about it sooner. We don’t usually like museums but this was fantastic. There is so much to do and look at. It was really engaging and we particularly enjoyed how interactive it all was. I would highly recommend!

We had a great visit here. It exceeded our expectations. It was very educational and enjoyable. Very well done. Not for younger kids just due to the subject matter. It was not originally on our radar, but we were glad we stumbled across it.

My husband and I enjoy learning about the mob, watching reality and fiction shows about the mob & all the craziness associated with the mob. We enjoyed the museum. Learned many new interesting things. 3 floors of exhibits to view, 1small cafe 1/2 way thru, gift shop, and a speakeasy in the basement. We did it all. The employee on the 3rd floor shared a lot of interesting facts that weren’t written anywhere, like how IRS-CI came into possession of Al Capone’s gun. Fun times and the classic drinks in the speakeasy was a nice way to end it. Don’t forget to buy tickets online in advance for a discount & go after 5pm for more of a discount.

This is an interesting place to visit that is unlike the fast-paced, wild performances you're bound to find along Fremont Street. Just a few blocks away, The Mob Museum is a detailed three-story tour of the mafia and how it functioned in the United States. Anyone can visit if they want to learn more about gangs, their crimes, and what came to be of infamous crooks like Al Capone.

This tour does involve some graphic violence and descriptions of torture/death, including innocent casualties that may be to disheartening for some visitors. But it was valuable information that helped me understand why so many people resorted to a life of crime; the circumstances they had to be living in to dedicate their lives to a cause that would ultimately bury them in the end.

I explored the museum as early as 10am on a Saturday, yet it still filled up quickly. The videos that are located around the building are helpful tools to keep traffic from piling up too badly. My favorite moments was an interactive story I played where I was being inducted into the mob, and I had to choose if being in a gang was worth more than my family's lives. It weighed heavy on my mind, as I was saddened to think of the people who were so desperate for security that they'd go against their morality.

I also enjoyed the invited speaker, Frank Calabrese Jr., who described his former mobster life to us, and the lengths he had to go to protect himself from his own father who threatened to murder him. His story is famously known as the, "Family Secrets Trial/Mob Case" that took place back around 2007.

I would come back again with somebody new, so they can learn about mob history as well and maybe this time, I'll have some extra cash to spend on some cool souvenirs.
