Beautiful, artful exhibits; lots of great Vegas history

I didn't know how far into Vegas the mob went. This tour was amazing! Plan to spend at least 2-2.5 hours going through! If he's working, be sure to listen to ALL of Frank's stories (on 1st floor, towards end of tour). He was amazing! Definitely a great place for mob history and history of Vegas.

Eh
Eh. It was ok. Was it interesting? Yes. Would I suggest to others? No. I did learn more about the mafia, but it’s a lot of reading. A LOT of reading. There are some pieces to view, but mostly you will read the walls and watch short videos.

Must See When in Vegas
Nov 2021
Must view the short movie in the real court room. Very well done. Very informative. Museum is near Fremont Street, easy walk, I paid $29 at the door to get in, well worth it. Plan to spend at least 1 hour there, probably more time needed to view all. Sure beats high school history class.

The mob museum is a real steal of a deal!
Nov 2021
All I have heard for years , from both locals and tourist, was how great of experience it was to visit the mob museum. I was skeptical, but when I happened to walk by there, they were celebrating having 3 million visitors since it opened. Therefore, all local residents could visit for free. I ended up spending a couple of hours there and was very impressed with all aspects of this location, that use to be our post office. I had no idea that the museum had 3 floors available. There were an unlimited number of video monitors, interactive monitors, a court room presentation, photographs, artifacts, excellent tour guides, and interesting reading information, as well. This place did an excellent job with detail with illustrating both complete sides of the equation, between the mob and the police, This would include the beginning of these conflicts all the way to current times with the various mobs, gangs and cartels around the world with details on the modern day law enforcement/government agencies that are well trained to combat these criminal organizations. This is a place that you want to take your time and take in all of the information available and the museum gives historic revelations to the social settings, during each time period and location. There was no much that I learned from here that I did not know about beforehand. The guides were so courteous, and helpful and really helped make this a very good experience. The place is very clean, has plenty of restrooms and seating and everything is very well marked, well organized. Despite getting to visit for free that day, the cost is not very expensive and it voted as one of the most popular Las Vegas attractions every year. You want to get there early to beat the large crowds! jefferson lee-amazon book author

We really enjoyed the history of the mob! Very clean. Expect to spend 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours. My only complaint is I wished the gift shop was bigger!

Our first time here, and we loved it.
Nov 2021
We bought tickets online the day before for an early Saturday admission - and loved it. We thought it was really well done and liked how there was order to the museum (start at the 3rd floor and work your way down). We only spent about 2 hrs there (9a-11a) but to see it all, recommend at least 3-4 hrs.

When we left at 11am, there was a huge line to get in, so also recommend going early if possible.

Well worth it!

Loved It!

I have been wanting to visit this museum for years and finally had the opportunity. I am a history and crime buff so I arrived with a lot of knowledge but still found much to learn here. The exhibits are well laid out, with an easy mix of short videos, reading, and viewing many authentic artifacts. I must admit I found the gory section of the mob murders intriguing. (You can easily skip it if you are sensitive to the subject matter.) I spent 2 and 1/2 hours at a rather leisurely pace and did not do any of the add-on experiences. The shop was nice, too.

We bought the basic admission ticket, ended up spending over 3 hrs going through the exhibits. Very interesting and informative. Learned alot about their influence beyond the typical cities that you'd associate with the word "mob".
