It was neat seeing Vegas of the 1940s, but don't make the mistake of joining their players club, courtesy of a voucher from the Mob Museum. If you do, offer a fake phone number and email. I made the mistake of giving my phone number...More

This is the place the dealers learn to deal. The old hands are pretty great and the crowd tends to be a little older. The craps table is cheap and pays 10x odds. No noticeable smoky smell and the place is pretty clean.

This is the way Vegas used to be. However, the slots are not as "loose" as they once were. Still very nostalgic.

We were told about this casino and wanted to visit because we were told they still have slot machines that take coins. We wanted to experience the old magic of putting coins in a machine. It was so much fun! It's right around the corner...More

Enjoyed our visits to the El Cortez again this summer. The area directly around this casino still looks a little sketchy, but once you get in there it is a nice casino with a friendly staff. Plenty of $5 blackjack and craps, and also plenty...More

Made a point to come to this Casino to gamble. While staff was kind to me. However, I witnessed brash attitude from 2 different waitresses to other patrons gambling. Met some other people who were locals who like gambling there but they warned of the...More
