Make sure you stop at Hoover Dam on your way to the Grand Canyon West Rim. It is beautiful. Nice photo opportunities there.

Difficult to find the turnoff. The walkway is very close to 75 mph cars and trucks whizzing along with only a four foot cement wall between you and them. Favorite part .....the dam view you won’t get anywhere else Next fav.....crossing back and forth over...More

It was okay. It's something to do just to be out and about. We took plenty of pics of the dam. The water is getting lower.

Educational grandsons enjoyed it. Just don't do in summer heat. Best fall months. Lots of walking depending on your choice

We stopped in at Hoover Dam on our way to Las Vegas. Simply amazing! We were not able to do the tour, maybe on our next trip. I hope that Lake Mead will one day return to full capacity because the pictures I saw at...More

You can park and walk up to then see the view back across the dam - it is a fair few steps up but we'll worth the effort - be careful because the wind can be deceptively strong on the bridge and blows off any...More
