We must have lucked out and came on a day that was not busy. The drive up was scenic and beautiful and the new visitors center is a stunner. Helpful staff but they also left you to do your own thing which is nice too....More

enjoyed the drive to the top at 7500+ feet up. saw mule deer, horses. beautiful views, just go slow and watch the road if you are the driver

We stopped by the National Visitor Center and spent about 1 hour there....extremely interesting. I was amazed by the amount of trails that are available to hikers.

No the lodge does not have sleds but further up the road, the ski area might. I recommend staying there at least one night, you have the choice of the hotel or renting a cabin. The cabins are clean. It is a beautiful... More
