Shark Reef does an excellent job of displaying and caring for some amazing animals. There are very few places where you can get close to large crocodilians, Komodo Dragons, piranhas, giant sea turtles, and of course a variety of large sharks and rays, including the very cool guitar fish and saw fish!

This place is a total ripoff. Its way too small - its presented beautifully. You walk through the entrance and immediately think of the films Tomb Raider and Indiana Jones films - all brilliantly presented. Highlights being the luminous jellyfish, and seeing the piranhas. Your just getting into the exhibits and you find yourself within the shark tank looking from... More

Not a bad place to visit. It was $18/person. Very small and take about 30-40 minutes to view. This place for both adults and kids to see.

tickets are 25.00 go to vegas.com and get them.. then they are 20.00 each. Come see fish and other reptiles huge stingrays jellyfish and sharks. Really cool to go through the tunnels and see all the animals just swimming by. They even have a place for kids to pet the baby rays.

We stayed at the Mandalay Bay and visited this while there. Way too expensive for what you get. I enjoy visiting aquariums but this was a disappointment. Was expecting more variety and the exhibit to be at least twice as big as it was. Save your money and time.

Located in Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, the Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay is a public aquarium inside the casino itself. It is quite a walk to get to it, if coming from the tram, as you have to walk through the casino floor, basically going from one end to another. There are 2 different parts to this place,... More

This aquarium is fun for kids - not really interesting for the grown ups. The whole aquarium is drenched in low dim light - to the extent that the details of the aquatic life is not clearly visible. The interiors are modeled in the form of a drowned ship which gives you a feeling of really being there and watching... More

We were looking for something to entertain our young granddaughter while keeping the adults entertained as well. Shark Reef at Mandalay had high ratings, so we thought it would be a fun experience for the entire group. We were not disappointed, and thought the prices of admission were fair. The range was $17 - $25, children under three were free.... More

Took my grandkids they really enjoyed it, a couple of the exhibits that they talked about and really enjoyed were the pirahna tank and the shark and sea turtles exhibit just comparing their size to the fish in the tank. The whole experiance took anywhere from 45 mins to an hour to go thru. We would go back in the... More
