Red Rock canyon is about 20 miles from Las Vegas. It has great colorful rock displays ;and numerous hiking trails. It also has a 17 miles one way road track around the various canyons. Worth a look. Entrance fee is $7.

went for a sight seeing trip in the gold helecopter .. great driver great trip well worth the visit .. had a stop for a snacking included in the trip was great views well worth the money

Red Rock Canyon is beautiful. It's a great way to get out of the city from all the lights, people, and excitement. If you want some peace and exercise, this is the place. Or, you can just drive through and take in the sites. It is about a half hour from the city by car. We rented a Ferrari California... More

Really nice place, spectacular views and amazed at the colors an dhow it all formed. Nice paved road and you can stop and explore or climb the rocks.

This place is incredible. The views are breathtaking and there are so many places along the 13 mile scenic route to hike and take pictures. Make sure you bring snacks and water because you'll want to stay awhile. Also, don't skip out on the Visitor's Center, there's a great spot for pictures here and a cool National Park Passport that... More

Drove through Red Rock Canyon during our stay. It was hot but very beautiful. Would definitely hike through it in the cooler months. Love the colors.

When you go to Las Vegas you get what asked for. Do yourself a favor and drive west for 30 minutes and experience the natural beauty and awesomeness of Red Rocks. Nature. History. Beauty. Geology. 650 million years of "wow."

Red Rock Canyon is an easy, scenic 30 minute drive on Hwy 160 then to Hwy 159 to reach this amazing natural wonder. Take the 13 mile scenic drive through the Canyon for the $7 fee. There's no fee if you have a national park pass. Take lots of amazing photos. For the more energetic, take your hiking and trail... More
