WOW!!!

Stunningly beautiful, you have to go see for yourself to appreciate the simple beauty of nature at it's finest. Sunsets are especially fabulous.

When in Vegas, take the time to visit Red Rock. It's a 13 mile loop to drive but also tons of walking and hiking trails. It's $5 a person to get in and about 25-30 minutes to get there during off peak. It's beautiful views!

Red Rock State Park is a must see if visiting Vegas. Red Rock is about 1/2hr drive from Vegas and definitely worth the drive. Its a nominal $7 per adult to enter and has a nice new information center with gift shop. One of the best things about Red Rock is that its self-paced and you can do as little... More

This is a site that most people either don't know about or just pass over when they come to vegas. Red Rocks is a beautiful conservation area within a 15-20 min drive from the Strip. It is great for hiking (lots of climbing not easily accessible for anyone with physical challenges) or biking (we did a tour once on electric... More

I have been here and fire valley and prefer red rock. It's easier and quicker to get to for one but it's also much bigger. If you rent a sports car however its lake mead rec area.

Beautiful hikes easy for all levels! Just don't go on a holiday. I went and there was so much traffic!! Normally, the traffic isn't bad.

This is go to site just outside of the city lights of Las Vegas. The air is free of smog and the mountains are amazing. There are hiking trails, camping sites, and plenty of scenery to enjoy.

Red Rock Canyon is seen via a 13 mile, one-way road with many spurs and stops along the way. We stopped at most of them but were able to find 3 that provided short, roughly 1-mile hikes that were easy on my wife's knees. We were still able to see some of the beautiful rock formations, slot canyons and desert... More

Been to LV many times and have never visited Red Rock. Have to say that upon first driving up, it is awesome to look at. As you venture through the scenic drive it gets even better. It is definitely worth stopping off at all of the stops since the drive is only 35 minutes long/ 13 miles if you drive... More
