The beach is a nice spot to spend some time when you are in Lake Tahoe. The place can be really crowded and difficult to get a parking in the later part of the day . Close to incline village which has some eating places...More

This park is wonderful and very family and handicap friendly. The boardwalk paths with great informational signs are an easy walk. There are restrooms, gift shop and a small restaurant (not open when we visited). You can also swim at this location which had a...More

Great beach. Definitely recommend getting there early to get a spot of sand up front. We went on a Tuesday, school was still in and still very crowded.

Recommended by our server at The Black Cabin coffee shop. One of the most beautiful places on Lake Tahoe. Do not miss it. Beaches, gift shop had a good historical display. Rocks for climbing, walking trails, paddle boarding and kayaking!

This is a great place to kayak. I launched my own kayaks from South beach in Sand Harbor (south beach has no stairs going from parking lot to the beach). Easy parking and $10 to park for the day. I headed south from the south...More

All I can say is wow. We visited early morning and it was absolutely incredible. It was so quiet and peaceful I can’t explain it. So picturesque it looks fake. More of Gods great handy work for us to enjoy. Don’t miss this

Stopped in for a bit while touring around the lake. Beautiful setting. Would be awesome on a hot day. Lovely sand beach to hang out and swim. We walked the boardwalk. Great to read about the geographic and historic events.

Awesome views of Lake Tahoe from the Nevada side. It was $10 to park but was well worth the cost. Go early to beat the afternoon thunder showers.
