This is a really interesting piece of social history - the teenage boys weren't totally enthralled by it, but their parents certainly were! And the welcome we received from the supervisor at the Museum was super - many thanks!

This museum is an excellent hidden gem. Just outside of Henderson, it showcases history of Clark County and Las Vegas. Its awesome to see artifacts from the area and learn more about how Las Vegas was formed. The staff are experts and can answer any...More

Great place to get some real local history. Away from the strip, this is the bargain of bargains - $2 to get in. If you like museums/history, go here to get "off the strip."

Well worth the trip as this facility is well thought out with many interesting historical features. The renovated historic houses and wedding chapel were great examples of Vegas "back in the day". Didn't see "the beard of knowledge" but you can take your picture next...More

There is so much history in the Las Vegas area. This is a great part of telling that story. The period houses are worth at least an hour and a half. So are the trains. Just don't go in mid summer because so much of...More

needed to know more about how this area came about. It's a great place just for that. It was a very hot day but managed just to get round all the outside exhibits. They are all in short walking distance of one another with most...More

Price to get in to Clark County Heritage Museum is only $2 pp when we were there. Is quite a ways out of town so probably would need a rental car - if don't want rental car for whole time, perhaps ask at your hotel to see... More
